A few months ago we went to a water park/resort for a family vacation. When we were leaving I decided to pull forward out of my parting spot instead of backing out. But I’d neglected to notice the steel poles that were in place to stop you from doing that. In my defense the sun was setting and I couldn’t see the pole.

My wife also wasn’t impressed we were in her car. Thankfully the 2mph impact only made a small divot in the bumper.

I’m so glad our big pathfinder has beepy sensors and cameras everywhere cos I’d certainly do that otherwise.

My little brother’s car has all those sensors. He still drives it into stuff all the time. Have sat with him while he reverses IN SPITE OF THE BEEPING.

Some people can’t be helped. My older sister once hit 3 cars while parking. She swiped both of the ones to the side and pulled to far forward and hit the one in front of her.

After that my parents took her of their insurance policy. She  was 24
